NWT Mint Condition, stored in plastic, smoke-free home, very clean & never used.Mel Beanie Baby was named after actor Mel Gibson & the poem reads: "How do you name a Koala bear? It's rather tough, I do declare! It confuses me, I get into a funk I'll name him Mel after my favorite hunk!"*Errors*: "Oakbrook" instead of "Oak Brook" on both hang & tush tags. No comma ( , ) after Oakbrook on both tags. No "U.K." After P05 5TX. No stamp inside the tush tag loop.*Has* PVC pellets. Early Beanie Babies were made with PVC pellets before Ty switched to PE pellets; some collectors consider PVC more desirable. "1965(KR)" text on the tush tag indicates it was part of a production run intended for the Korean market. 3rd or 4th-generation heart tag, which is more valuable. Bold font for "BEANIE ORIGINAL BABY" on the heart tag.
